London-based singer-songwriter Sasha Keable returned with a new song “Hold Up” on April 11, 2024.
The song is her first music in three years since the 2021 EP “Intermission”.
The track was written by Charlie Pitts, Kent Azares, and Sasha Keable. Produced by Charlie Pitts and Kent Azares.
The Jackson Forsythe-directed music video premiered on April 19, 2024.
Sasha Keable said of the song, “The new music came from a place of feeling powerless in everything else in life, the only place I felt safe and like I had control over the outcome was in the studio, so I just lived in there, I lived my life, and wrote songs about it everyday. I’ve found the joy in creating and a safe space within music I’ve never had before. It’s always felt so all or nothing and now I realise I’m just here to do what is best for me, to express myself through myself. I can’t do anymore than that.”- Sasha Keable shared about the video on social media, “Firstly big up Jackie Lee for being the absolute goat and bringing this vision to life, we had the most fun making this and I’m so grateful I got to work with you. Thank you thank you. There are too many people to thank but I just wanna say thank you so much to the team involved in making this possible and to my team thank you for all your hard work.
