British singer-songwriter Nieve Ella has released a new song “The Things We Say”.
The song is the first single since the EP “Lifetime of Wanting”, which was released last September.
The track received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo
It was written by Joel Pott and Nieve Pickering, and produced by Iain Berryman.
Nieve Ella said of the song, “I wrote 'The Things We Say' after an argument with a best friend. These conversations can be painful at the best of times, but even more so when it's with someone you love deeply. Being able to write something so raw and honest, and not being afraid to express how I feel, has made me feel strong and empowered.”- Nieve Ella shared on social media, “What a special song to be back with. I wrote this with such a great guy called Joel Pott, it was our first session together and i opened up to him very quickly. It was one of those days where i thought that I wasn't gonna come out with a verse, never mind a whole song about my bestfriend and me. I hope you love it as much as I do, this song lives so deep in my heart.”
