Croatia-based Canadian-Croatian singer-songwriter Dani Kristina returned with a new song “Sama” on March 15, 2024.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2022 song “I Won't Know”.
Also, the track is the first release under her new label Aquarius Records.
After the release of “I Won't Know”, she moved to Croatia from Toronto and signed to Aquarius Records.
The track blends Croatian folklore with Toronto's urban sounds, singing in Croatian.
Also, the song delves into themes of self-discovery and navigating personal growth, embracing the importance of self-acceptance.
It is in a way a reflection of her experiences since relocating to Croatia.
The track was written by Marija Mihaljević, and Marko Mihaljević.
She will perform at the Zagreb Festival in Zagreb, Croatia on April 19, 2024.- Dani Kristina said of the song, “'Sama' really stuck in my ear from the first listening and seemed to reflect a part of me - it captured the essence of how I felt when I moved to a new world. I'm so excited to perform this on Karpo Media and I hope you all love this song as much as I did when I first heard it in the studio Zagrebački festival.”
