Austrian DJ Toby Romeo teamed up with Australian pop rock singer-songwriter Sam Fischer to release a new song “Shine” on March 15, 2024.
In the past, Toby Romeo released a remix of Sam Fischer's “All My Loving” in 2022.
But this marks the first time Toby Romeo and Sam Fischer have worked together. They recorded the song in London.
For Toby Romeo, the single is the follow-up to “Lay Low (220 Kid La La Land Version)”, which was released back in January.
While, for Sam Fischer, the song is the second collaborative single of 2024 following “Antidote” with Guy Sebastian.
The track was written by Andreas Huber, Jan Hammele, Hight, Sam Fischer, and Toby Romeo. Produced by Toby Romeo and Blyne.- Toby Romeo said, “I've been a huge fan of Sam Fischer since his single 'This City', as have many people. In 2022, I remixed 'All My Loving' and then we became friends. During my songwriting trips around Europe, we met in a studio in London to create a joint song. I'm very pleased with the effect.”
Sam Fischer said, “Toby and I have been buddies since he blew up the system with his remix of my song 'All My Loving.' When he sent me the demo of "Shine" and I heard the chorus of the song, I immediately knew I wanted to sing on it. This is one of the songs where you immediately know that it will shine live. I can't wait to do it together.” -
