  • Overmono Premieres New Remix of The Streets' “Turn The Page” on BBC Radio 1

  • London-based electronic music duo Overmono, consisting of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, premiered a new remix of British hip hop project The Streets' “Turn The Page” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.

The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song stayinit with Fred again.. and Lil Yachty, which was released back in February.
The original version of the song is featured on The Streets' debut album “Original Pirate Material”, which was released in 2002.
Overmono first performed their version of the song at Lost Village Festival in 2022. Since then, the song became a regular fixture of the duo's sets.
The track was written by Mike Skinner and produced by Overmono.

The duo told Jack Saunders about the song, “I think lyrically that is an unbelievable record. And I think that was we really wanted a version that we could play in our show.”
  • They continued, “Mike (The Streets' lead singer Mike Skinner)'s heard it. And he likes it. So that's great. We've got his blessing. I think it's almost sounds too stupid to say but I feel like that record means so much to so many people, because the kind of why we're meant so much to work, which I wanted to do something with it.”
