Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Marian Hill Premieres New Song “Differently”
Philadelphia-based synth-pop duo Marian Hill will release their sophomore album "Unusual" on May 11, 2018. The album was preceded by “Subtle Thing” in February.
The follow-up to the first single, a new song “Differently” arrived on March 23. It was written by Marian Hill and produced by Boi-1da.
Part of the duo, Samantha Gongol is clearly singing here about an old boyfriend who has now moved on to another girl but she isn’t happy with that for some reason.
The album "Unusual" is their fist LP in two years and comprises of 10-track. The duo embark the tour in support of the new album at Crystal Ballroom in Portland on April 17. The tour takes place in North America and the UK through to May 16, with a total of 24 shows.-
- Before the tour, the duo will perform live at Coachella Music and Arts Festival on April 13th. The festival features Beyoncé, HAIM, Chic and Slow Magic, among others.
Also they will join in Electric Forest Festival on Jun 21st and 28th. In addition to the duo, the festival features the guest appearances of The Glitch Mob, Elohim, Cut Copy, Two Feet, Galantis, Bishop Briggs, Noisia, ZHU, Phantoms Music, Buku, Anna Lunoe, Flamingosis, Subfer, Luzcid, Lil Dicky, Andy Frasco and Melvv.
