  • Sierra Blanca Premieres New Songs “Book” and “Paint the Road”

  • Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jethro Gaglione, aka Sierra Blanca has released two new songs “Book” and “Paint the Road” via digital music services. Both songs are taken from his upcoming debut EP "Honorable Mention", which is expected to be released on November 10, 2017.

    “Book” draws the current socio-political climate, as it addresses social injustice, distrust and disappointment in politicians, the government and the state of the country.
    “Paint the Road” has a message that the human characteristic to continue to keep wanting and chasing even when they are in a place where they should be content.
    Back in August, he and his girlfriend drove from Nashville to El Paso, shooting the music video for "Paint the Road", in which his family and friends collaborated live.

    About the video, Sierra Blanca said;
    "I had a great time shooting the video and I think it's going to be something cool to have in the future and to show my grandkids. I got to put my family and friends in, and show where they are now. It's sort of a snap shot of where everyone is at this point in life. We're all in different places, but it's cool that we can all still hang out and feel like we never left our hometown."

  • He added;
    "When traveling, and being a songwriter and a musician, there's not really one day or a solid time that you feel validates what you're doing. It's a collection of honorable mentions in a sense. You meet people who say 'Hey! I like that you're doing! Keep on going.' And it's not a prize, and it doesn't financially give you anything, but it's validating and it encourages you to keep doing what you're doing."

  • Jethro Gaglione started his music career in 2002 and formed a project called “A Main Street Marvel” from 2007 to 2015. When he relocated to Nashville, he changed the name to Sierra Blanca in 2015.
    His music is influenced from Louis Armstrong, Fleetwood Mac and Amy Winehouse.
