American pop-rock band X Ambassadors joined in Adult Swim & Crunchyroll original animated series “Blade Runner: Black Lotus” soundtrack.
In addition to X Ambassadors, Alessia Cara, Walk Off The Earth, Daya, A7S, Grey, Kiana Ledé, salem ilese, Alesso, Danna Paola, Tori Kelly, G-Eazy, iann dior, 070 Shake Michael Hodges and Lord Netty participated in the soundtrack.
From the soundtrack, X Ambassadors has shared a new song “Water”.
It was written by Adam Levin, Samuel Harris, Casey Harris and Michael Hodges. Produced Michael Hodges and Sam Nelson Harris.
“Blade Runner: Black Lotus” was directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, and stars the voices of Jessica Henwick, Will Yun Lee, Samira Wiley, Brian Cox, Wes Bentley, Josh Duhamel, Peyton List, Stephen Root, Barkhad Abdi, Gregg Henry, Henry Czerny and Jason Spisak.
The film is set in 2032, after the events of Shinichiro Watanabe's Blade Runner 2049 short film "Black Out".
A young woman wakes up with no memories and no recollection of how she got to where she is. The only clues to her mystery are a locked data device and a tattoo of a black lotus flower. Putting together the pieces, she must hunt down the people responsible for her brutal and bloody past to find the truth of her lost identity.
