Toronto-based singer-songwriter Fox Revett released his debut song “SOMEONE NEW” on October 15, 2021.
The song will appear on his up coming debut EP “A Thousand Days”, which is expected to be released in spring 2022.
It was written and produced by Fox Revett.
He has already filmed a music video for the song, which will be premiered this Friday (October 22).
“This is my very first single ever!,” Fox Revett said of the song. “I have been working professionally in this industry for seven years and I am so excited to put out solo work on my own terms. As an LGBTQ person, it is important for us to get to tell our stories as we are.”
He continued, “I was falling out of love, and blaming it on my partner. I kept wanting them to change, but that was something I was projecting out of insecurity with myself. In an economy of song where singers never really take the fall or the blame, I am interested in taking a look at the parts of me that feel villainous, yet vulnerable.”- Photo by Allister MacDonald
