Scottish synth-pop band CHVRCHES has covered Gerard McMahon's “Cry Little Sister” for the Netflix film “Nightbooks” soundtrack.
The original version of “Cry Little Sister” was released by Gerard McMahon from the 1987 film “The Lost Boys” soundtrack.
It was written by Michael Mainieri and Gerard McMahon.
Back in 2018, Marilyn Manson also covered the song on X-Men film “The New Mutants” soundtrack.

The film “Nightbooks” is based on the 2018 horror-fantasy children's book of the same name by J. A. White.
It is directed by David Yarovesky, starring Winslow Fegley, Lidya Jewett and Krysten Ritter.
