Danish singer-songwriter MØ has dropped a new music video for “Kindness” directed by Florian Joahn.
The song was released from her upcoming third album last month.
It was written by ElectroJuice, Jam City, Yangze, Ariel Rechtshaid and MØ.
“Kindness is a love letter to my fans,” MØ explained of the song. “I wrote it at a time when I was feeling, like a lot of people, disconnected from the physical world. Despite being isolated, there was this beautiful connection and support from my fans and from our little online community, which I was so thankful for. I wrote the first demo in Copenhagen on a beat by my friend Yangze. Ariel Rechstshaid then joined the process and - working online and across timezones - we made this song take shape.”
She shared on social media, “The official music video for ‘Kindness’ is out now!! It’s been so amazing and overwhelming (in the good way) to watch all the beautiful and personal videos and choreography you have shared with me over the past months. It was SO FUN and so heartwarming to learn some of your moves and try and patch it together and fit it into the video (with help from Joelle D'fontaine).
