British singer-songwriter JP Cooper released a new song “If The World Should Ever Stop” along with a music video on July 23, 2021.
The song follows up “Holy Water”, which was released back in May.
It was written by JP Cooper, Sean McDonagh, Dominic Liu and Nicole Blair. Produced by Jake Gordon.
The accompanying music video was directed by Greg Davenport, starring Melissa Lowe and Anna Tereshchenko.
JP Cooper shared on social media, “This track was written mid 2020 and was definitely influenced by the state of the world at that point... everything was strange, nothing was certain and we were forced to look at our relationships with our neighbours and our loved ones... There was a constant hope for the future and a gratitude for the loved ones we were lucky enough to be 'stuck' with. Stick that in a blender with a dose of optimism and pinch of hopeless romantic and you have this song.”- source : Spotify
