Jacob Collier Releases New Song “Flow Freely” with Justin Kauflin from Documentary Film “Reflection: A Walk With Water”
- British singer-songwriter Jacob Collier released a new song “Flow Freely” from the documentary Film “Reflection: A Walk With Water”.
Jacob Collier wrote the song with American jazz pianist Justin Kauflin.
Jacob Collier said, “Here's a song I wrote with my wondrous friend Justin Kauflin for the film "Reflection – A Walk With Water". It's a beautiful documentary depicting the power, majesty and importance of water, highlighting the critical role it plays in an ever-changing climate.”
The film was directed by Emmett Brennan and will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival on June 15th.
Emmett Brennan shared on social media, “Hi friends, back on the book to make a special post. For the last 5+ years I've been working on a documentary film about water. Well, the film is premiering in person at Tribeca Film Festival on June 15th, with a special performance afterwords by Jacob Collier and Justin Kauflin (who co-authored a theme song to the film). It will then be available virtually through the festival until June 23rd.”
About “Reflection: A Walk With Water”: A filmmaker Emmett Brennan joinend in like-minded activists on a mission meant to raise awareness about California's water crisis and took a several-hundred-mile trek on foot along the Los Angeles Aqueduct.
The film is an enlightening investigation that urges humanity to rethink life's most basic resource.
Emmett Brennan is a filmmaker based in California. He is best known for producing the award-winning film Inhabit: A Permaculture Perspective. Reflection: a walk with water is his directorial debut. He built a cabin in the woods where he currently lives.
