Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd performed “Save Your Tears” at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23, 2021.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The ceremony was being broadcast live from NBC, and was hosted by Nick Jonas.
Other performances throughout the ceremony included Doja Cat, SZA, BTS, Alicia Keys, Twenty One Pilots, Duran Duran and DJ Khaled with H.E.R. and Migos.
The Weeknd was nominated for 16 awards and won 10 categories, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Male Artist, Top R&B Album with “After Hours”, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Radio Song and Top R&B Song with “Blinding Lights”.
“Save Your Tears” is included on his fourth studio album “After Hours”, which was released in 2020. The song reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.- source : Billboard
