American singer-songwriter AJ Mitchell premiered a new song “GROWING PAINS” on May 12, 2021.
The song is taken from his upcoming debut album “SKYVIEW”, following “Cameras On” and “Stop”.
The track was written by Sage Skolfield, Michel “Lindgren” Schulz, Melanie Joy Fontana and AJ Mitchell. Produced by Sean Solymar and MIKE DEAN.
The debut album is set to be released in May 2021. AJ Mitchell explained about where the album title came from, “SKYVIEW is a drive-in movie theater in my hometown. And that was like the coolest place to go, because everywhere else my hometown was like an abandoned house or hotel or church or whatever, so the driving theater was like coolest spot to go. Honestly it was super motivating for me like I watch the movies and like hearing music behind the movies just like seeing all that and me being just a kid I just wanted to be like hear one of my songs play like in the back of like a movie or something and that was really inspiring for me.”- source : Spotify
