Imagine Dragons Performs “Follow You” Live on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
American rock band Imagine Dragons appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform their latest song “Follow You”.
The band released the song on March 12th, along with “Cutthroat”. It is their first music since the 2018 album “Origins”.
The song was inspired to write after frontman Dan Reynolds and his wife, musician Aja Volkman, decided to remarry after a seven-month separation.
Dan Reynolds said, “Have you ever gotten a text that changed your life? My wife and I hadn't talked in 7 months. I was driving to the lawyer's office to sign the divorce papers. When I got a text from her that turned my perpective upside down. She said she didn't want to own me to love me. She loved me without expectations. We ditched the lawyers and went to lunch. It felt like the first date again. We called off the divorce…I wrote this song after I got that text.”
The music video for the song features It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia stars Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson.- source : CBS
