5omerset Releases New Song “Talk About Love”
Toronto-based alt-pop singer-songwriter 5omerset has released a new song “Talk About Love”.
The track is his second single following debut song “Naked & Alone”, which was released back in January.
It was written and produced by 5omerset.
5omerset said of the song, “These are the feelings of love and nostalgia illustrated in my new single, sparked by journeys with partners and great friends. It's about still standing together as a team after time and hardships pass. I think about my 10+ year long relationship and all the ups and downs we have been through together.”- He explained of creating process, “I moved north of Toronto to a log house in the woods during the pandemic, where I recorded in a simple studio set up in the basement. One of the synth pad sounds is a vocal sample that I sang, and brought into a sampler, playing it as new chords. I sang a C note, held it for a few seconds, tuned it, and sampled the track. It's one of the main sounds heard in this song.”
