Montreal-based producer Moe Chaieb teamed up to Canadian singer-songwriter Claire Ridgely to release a new song “Fly Off”.
This marks the first collaboration between Moe Chaieb and Claire Ridgely.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut EP “Here You Can Leave Me”, which is set to be released on March 25, 2021. It was written by Claire Ridgely and Moe Chaieb.
“This song is an ode to letting go and focuses on releasing one's inhibitions with that special someone, even if it's just for the night,” Moe Chaieb explained of the song. “'Fly Off' came together quickly, with everything from the synths I chose to the drum sound design and sequencing happening in a single take. Claire Ridgely recorded her vocals remotely, killing it in one go – we didn't have any back and forth once she sent the vocals, which speaks to her sheer talent as a singer and songwriter.”
He continued, “This song is the most pop driven track I have released, which allowed me to balance my sound with something captivating and simple in essence. I challenged myself to create a rhythmically varied yet synth focused EP, so I am excited to share the full breadth of beats which Here You Can Leave Me explores.”- source : SoundCloud
