Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Loud Luxury & Ship Wrek Release New Song “Amnesia” featuring GASHI
Canadian DJ duo Loud Luxury teamed up with Los Angeles-based DJ duo Ship Wrek to release a new song “Amnesia” on March 4, 2021.
This time, both artists have worked with American rapper GASHI on the track.
The song was written by Tillis James Churchill III, Joe De Pace, Andrew Fedyk, GASHI and Ship Wrek.
Loud Luxury said, “We both used to play in bands when we were younger so it was awesome returning to our roots and working on something that had that type of energy. We've been big fans of Ship Wrek, playing out tons of their tracks on tour, and felt like it was a matter of time before doing something together. Once we got to know GASHI, it was the icing on the cake. He complimented this song perfectly and we're super stoked that it's yours to enjoy.”- Ship Wrek added, “We started this record around the time everything shut down because of COVID. Around the same period, we met the Loud Luxury guys and started talking about working together. We all wanted to try something kind of outside the box and decided to work on 'Amnesia.' We've been really inspired by what the punk/alternative scene has been doing right now and on this record we wanted to merge two worlds together to create a harsher electronic sound. Since none of us were touring we had time to hang out and really focus on it. We're all very proud of this record and can't wait for the world to hear it.”
