The Autos Releases Debut Song “Trespass” featuring Elliot Martin
Denver-based reggae production group The Autos released their debut song “Trespass” on January 1, 2021.
The project teamed up with Elliot Martin of John Brown's Body for the song.
The project consists of Ian Gastl, Nick Wimer, Pancho Tranmer and Taylor Kaufman. They recorded the song at Turbo Snail Studios in the mile high city, Denver, CO.
“This is a special single because it's our first release as a production team. And, around the same time as we were making plans to release the song, Ian the head of The Autos was also told he was in remission. Great vibes for us all around.”
“The Autos started as a way to create music with no boundaries, focused on collaboration culture and capturing moments in a studio atmosphere,” Ian Gastl told Rootfire. “Not a band, but more so a production environment that is open to working with all types of artists and players.”
He said of the song, “I think the lyrics are very relative to today's struggles. The United States is in a very fragile state. These are classic Elliot lyrics in my opinion. Speaking on uplifting and coming together but also not backing down to the people who are considered oppressors. We need unity while we also need action.”- source : Rootfire
