In 2020, British singer-songwriter Ren Gill, aka Ren released two EPs “Demos (Do Not Share) Vol. I” and “Demos [Do Not Share], Vol. II” in April and October, respectively.
From the EP “Demos [Do Not Share], Vol. II”, he has dropped a new music video for “Penitence”.
He teamed up with British singer-songwriter Molly McKinna on the track. It was written by Molly McKinna and Ren Gill.
The track interpolates Ren's 2018 “Blind Eyed”.
Molly McKinna shared on social media, “The time I have known Ren Gill has turned into years and I've written music I never thought I could and I'm most proud of whilst writing with him. We have finally released a track for all your lovely ears. This a song Ren Gill and I wrote together. I put all my sad into this song and Ren as always is a magician with his words.
