David Bisbal Teams Up With Carrie Underwood For New Song “Tears Of Gold”
- Spanish singer-songwriter David Bisbal teamed up with American country music singer Carrie Underwood to release a new song “Tears Of Gold” along with a music video.
This marks the first collaboration between David Bisbal and Carrie Underwood. They performed the song in in English and in Spanish.
The song will appear on his upcoming re-release album “En Tus Planes”, which is out December 11th.
It was written by Paul Harris, Matt Schwartz and Cameron Forbes. Produced by Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo. The video was directed by Alexis Morante, who filmed it in Los Angeles.
“I am very proud of our first collaboration,” David Bisbal said in a statement. “The video was shot in Los Angeles and it was very special because I love Carrie and truly admire her courage. She has shown a profound admiration for the Spanish language with her wonderful vocals on the track and I am honored to collaborate with Carrie on her first bilingual Spanish song. I hope you enjoy the blend of country and pop music on 'Tears of Gold' as much as we do.”
He added, “I immediately knew it was an amazing track that needed a special talent, and voice, to work with me on a duet. As an artist and vocalist, I listen to a lot of songs, determine the style and sound, and am involved in the process of my collaborators for my projects.”
