American Grammy winning singer-songwriter PJ Morton teamed up with Indonesian singer-songwriter Vidi Aldiano to release a new song “I Can't Wait x Tak Bisa Bersama”.
This marks the first collaboration between PJ Morton and Vidi Aldiano.
The track was written by Vidi Aldiano, Nino, Ilman Ibrahim, Arya “Lale” Aditya and PJ Morton.
The pair recorded the song in Jakarta and Louisiana, United States, each. Also, PJ Morton tried to sing the song in Indonesian.
PJ Morton said, “I teamed up with Indonesian artist @vidialdiano for his first international collaboration! My first time singing in another language 😅.. Honestly, I have a hard time with bahasa, but after hearing the way you sing, I'm sure this song is about a couple who can't be together.”
Vidi Aldiano added, “The tone and lyrics in this song are quite tricky in my opinion, and I was really surprised when PJ managed to sing it even on the first try”.
Recently, PJ Morton joined in American singer-songwriter JoJo's first Christmas album “December Baby”, in which he performed “Wishlist”.- source : Prambors
