Back in July, American rapper KYLE released his sophomore album “See You When I Am Famous!!!!!!!!!!!!” for the first time in two years.
The album comprises of 12-track, featuring guest appearances from Tyga, Johnny Yukon, Rico Nasty, Rich the Kid, K Camp, Trippie Redd, Iann Dior, The Drums, Bryson Tiller, Raphael Saadiq, AzChike and Too Short.
Three months later, he teamed up with American singer-songwriter Chris Brown to release a new remix of “What It Is”.
The original version of the song is the 7th track of the album. It was written by KYLE and Mick Schultz.
“This song is special to me, not only because it's my favorite song I made for this album, but also because working with Chris Brown has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid,” KYLE said of the song. “I remember hearing my first Chris Brown song; I was probably in the sixth grade. He's the epitome of what it means to be a superstar, which is something I aspire to be. Working in the studio with him was pretty nuts too because I got to see his process and I got to hear how he does the very thing that has inspired me for more than two decades.
