British singer-songwriter Sam Smith performed his latest song “Diamonds” and a cover of “Head & Heart” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Sam Smith said, “Was so nice to be back in the @bbcradio1 Live Lounge today, and it makes me so happy to see you all enjoying our performance.”
“Diamonds” is the second single off of his upcoming third studio album “Love Goes”. It was written by OZGO, Sam Smith and Shellback.
“Head & Heart” was released by British DJ Joel Corry and British singer MNEK back in July.
The new album is set to be released on October 30th, featuring guest appearances from Burna Boy, Labrinth, Normani, Demi Lovato and Calvin Harris.
Sam Smith shared, “I'm so excited to announce my third album Love Goes. This album is a collection of songs I've written over the last two years. Each song a separate story. The last two years have been the most experimental time of my life, personally but also musically. Every time I went into the studio I promised myself I would shoot for the stars and have no limitations. The result has been so magical and so therapeutic and FUN. My love for music is so broad and all of my musical guilty pleasures became pleasures. No guilt, no shame, just the love of singing and creating and dancing.
