Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for a feature-length documentary “In Wonder”.
The film stars Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, directed by Grant Singer. It is an intimate look at Shawn Mendes' life and journey, filmed over the last few years.
"This isn't the story of a famous musician. This is a story about a guy growing up," Shawn Mendes says in the clip. "I used to feel like my idols were born legendary. That's just not the truth. If I tell the world that I'm just a normal human, are they just going to stop coming to the shows? Maybe I should pretend that I'm Superman for a little bit longer."
The film features footage from his 2019 self-titled world tour that took him across the North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Also it sees his relationship with Camila Cabello. He says in the clip. “My song comes on the radio or something, and I'm like, 'Everything is about you. They've always been about you.' She goes, 'What do you mean?' And I'm like, 'They're all about you — like, every song I ever wrote.'”
The film was premiered at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival and arrives on November 23rd on Netflix.
