American singer-songwriter Cyn unveiled a new song “New York” on October 20th.
It is her fist single since the EP “Mood Swing (even moodier)”, which was released last month.
The track was written by Jack Garratt and Cyn. Produced by Matias Mora. Lyric video was directed by Pete Lawrie Winfield.
“Even though times are uncertain, I aim to remind people that looking toward the future with optimism is still worth it,” Cyn explains. “‘New York’ is a love song with an undeniable thread of possibility running through it.”
Also she shared on socal media, “ ..for me, there are only certain ways i can mark my creative experience through time and i think a notable characteristic of writing this song is probably that i felt i was channeling the same kind of raw, confessional feeling i felt when i wrote 'I’ll still have me' but there’s something so grand scheme about this one that takes it out of my small apartment, and into a world where the song can take on feelings that pay no mind to traits that limit us or even to time itself.”- source : Spotify
