Selena Gomez Shares Demo Version of “Lose You To Love Me”
- American singer-songwriter Selena Gomez has shares a demo version of her single “Lose You to Love Me”.
Selena Gomez shared on social media. “It’s been almost a year since I released one of the most important songs of my career and my first Billboard Number 1, ‘Lose You To Love Me.’ To celebrate with you, here’s the unreleased demo version that so many of you have asked for! 🖤”
The original version was released on October 23, 2019 as the lead single from her third studio album “Rare”.
It was written by Gomez, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and its producers Mattman & Robin, with additional production by Finneas O'Connell.
The song reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
“I did not have my team or my A&R or my label in the process a lot,” Selena Gomez told Rolling. “I knew from the get-go that ‘Lose You to Love Me’ was going to be the bigger song because I just felt it in my heart. I wanted people to take away that this was a journey and that it was completely closed. I don’t want people to see me as just sad and hurt. I didn’t want that anymore. I wanted people to know that I experienced something real and that part of me is over.”
