The Weeks Releases New Album “Twisted Rivers”: Streaming
American alt-rock band The Weeks released their 7th studio album “Twisted Rivers” on September 4th via Crooked Letter Records.
The release of the album follows the re-release of their original albums “Comeback Cadillac” and “Gutter Gaunt Gangster”.
The album contains 8-track, featuring guest appearances from John McCauley and The Watson Twins.
“'Twisted Rivers' is an album about the interconnectivity between every person. We all have our own triumphs & failures, curiosities & fears, but they all intertwine with the stories of those who walk next to us,” guitarist Sam Williams explains. “Throughout 2020 we've all come even more face to face with our connection to the rest of the world. More than ever, our neighbors' troubles and successes are our own. With this album, it's a theme that permeates even down to the songs themselves. These songs were recorded for the most part separate from each other with their own unique purpose and frame of mind, but when we compiled them into one unit they slid next to each other seamlessly and told one singular story. We're at a time in history when empathy is paramount. Our rivers may be twisted, but they all have the same source and they all flow the same direction.”- source : Vacancy Magazine
