Last month, Canadian folk bluesy singer-songwriter Cat Clyde released her third studio album “Good Bones”.
The album contains acoustic 12-track and is her first LP in a year.
From the album, she dropped a new music video for “Toaster” on June 9th. The clip was shot and edited by Cat Clyde herself and Strummer Jasson.
“I wrote this song during my first year of college – I was spending a lot of time in my apartment alone,” Cat Clyde said of the song. “The lyrics are very literal. I never really planned to record or release this one, but after bringing it back out, I was urged to do something with it. I'm happy to have recorded it in one take and really love how it fits into this record of simple acoustic recordings.”
Her previously albums “Ivory Castanets” and “Hunters Trance” have amassed over 30 million streams worldwide.- source : The Fader
