Grammy-nominated music producer Eric Burton Frederic, aka Ricky Reed has announced his debut album “The Room” will be released on August 28, 2020.
The album features guest appearances from Leon Bridges, Jim James, Lido Pimienta, Duendita, Kiana Ledé and John-Robert.
From the album, the lead single “Real Magic” was released on June 30th, along with the music video directed by Jakob Longcob. He teamed up with American rapper Terrace Martin and music artist St. Panther for the song.
Ricky Reed shared on social media, “When my livestream collaboration experiment resulted in a song that brought me to tears mid-broadcast, I realized there might be some real magic to be found by simply connecting people who wouldn't otherwise make music together. The result is The Room, a running record of me trying to stay connected with my community, cope with the terror of pandemic, and supply love and energy for the revolution while spending a lot of time looking inward.
