Florida Georgia Line Releases New EP “6-Pack”: Streaming
- American country music duo Florida Georgia Line released their fifth EP “6-Pack” on May 22nd.
The EP contains 6-track, including NBC's songwriting competition show Songland winning song “Second Guessing”.
The duo shared on social media, “Even in the toughest of times, music has always brought us all together. We hope you turn these songs up loud and proud and keep the good times going. Cheers y’all!!”
The EP is a prelude to their next full-length album, which is expected to be released later this year.
Before the release of the EP, the duo appeared on Songland and selected “Second Guessing”.
The track was written by winner Griffen Palmer and co-written by judge Shane McAnally.
Shane McAnally said of the song, “Of all the songs we’ve heard on this show from the beginning from both seasons, I’ve never been mad at a hook. Luckily, I’ve been in the room when someone like Shane McAnally said, “Kacey Musgraves walks in and says, ‘I want to write a song called ‘Space Cowboy,’ but it’s 'you can have your space, cowboy.’‘ And you’re just like, 'Thank you Jesus, that you just said that in front of me.’ And that [“Second Guessing”] is out of this world. How has that not been written? Congratulations on that. […] It sounds classic.”
Florida Georgia Line will appear on NBC’s “Indy 500 Special: Back Home Again” on May 24th, along with Sheryl Crow, Thomas Rhett and Rascal Flatts.
