Ellen Krauss Releases New Song “No Talk”
- Swedish alt-pop singer-songwriter Ellen Krauss unveiled a new song “No Talk” on May 8th.
The song is middle tempo rhythmic pop sound unlike previous song “Silver Spoon” released last month.
Ellen Krauss wrote the song about a year ago. “No Talk is about ignoring the fear of getting it wrong for a minute, and just letting yourself be swept away,” she said. “It’s okay to seize the moment even though you have no clue what you’re doing. You can make up your own rules. I think it’s like that for a lot of people and specially in the LGBTQ-community. There’s no handbook on how to do things, you have to navigate on your own.”
Ellen Krauss debuted with LGBTQ acceptance anthem “The One I Love” in 2019. The song racked up over 12 million total global streams since its release last year. Her debut EP “First Take” was release last November.
She is outspoken about LGBTQ equality, women’s rights, and pushes back against the traditional social structures that a young girl should fit into. It all manifests in her charismatic, playful and thoughtful songwriting. “I want to look at what makes us similar,” she says about her music, “and try and bring people together.”
