Megan Thee Stallion & Normani Share New Song “Diamonds” from DC Superhero Film “Birds of Prey” Soundtrack
American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and former Fifth Harmony Normani teamed up to release new song “Diamonds”.
The song was taken from original motion picture soundtrack “Birds of Prey”, which is set to be released on February 7th.
The track sampled and interpolates Marilyn Monroe's 1953 single “Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend”.
The film “Birds of Prey” is based on the DC Comics team Birds of Prey and a follow-up spin-off to the 2016 film “Suicide Squad”.
Directed by Cathy Yan, starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong, and Ewan McGregor.
Since the events of Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) has left the Joker. When Roman Sionis, a narcissistic crime lord known as Black Mask, places a hit on a young girl named Cassandra Cain, Gotham City turns upside down looking for her. Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Helena Bertinelli, and Renee Montoya to protect the girl and to take Sionis down.
