Annika Bennett Announces Debut Album “Live From Mother Earth”, Shares New Song “Strong Enough”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Annika Bennett has announced her debut album “Live From Mother Earth” will be released on October 18, 2024.
The album comprises 10 songs, produced by Annika Bennett and Jonah Shy, including American guitarist John Mayer co-produced “A Tree Falls”.
Annika Bennett said of the album, “This album feels like such a long time coming. I wrote one of these songs when I was a teenager, and the rest in the last couple years between playing opening slots and writing songs for other artists. The album is about growing up and figuring out what matters and realizing I have to matter to myself. It took me a while to put aside enough time and space and energy to make this album but I'm so so so happy I did.”- From the album, she released a new song “Strong Enough” on September 27, 2024.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Molly, I'm Coming Around” and “A Tree Falls”.
The track was written and produced by Annika Bennett, with production by Jonah Shy.
The accompanying music video was directed by Joseph Wasilewski.
Annika Bennett said of the song, “This is the last song I wrote for the album, this past summer at 4am in Berlin.” - source : Apple Music
