  • Brother Valiant Releases New Song “C'est La Vie”

  • New York-based indie folk singer-songwriter Brother Valiant will release his upcoming EP “Better Luck Next Time” later this August via Little Planet Music.

it is his first project in six years since the 2018 EP “Dark Treasures” and was recorded in Nashville.
From the EP, he released the first single called “C'est La Vie” on June 12,2024.
The track was written by Alex Amsterdam, Dave Rublin who also produced it.
The song chronicles trying to make big changes for someone you care about.

Brother Valiant said of the song, “Mostly, I found it overwhelming to the point where I'd fall back into old habits and behaviors. The premise of the song is accepting that deep down, to an extent, we are always going to have certain qualities and quirks that we cannot change about ourselves. However, despite faltering when trying to change certain negative aspects, I believe expressing feelings of love, compassion, and acceptance through action is still paramount on the journey towards being a good person.”
  • Brother Valiant shared on social media, “Spent the last month in Nashville finishing up recording, playing out, playing with dogs, seeing shows, waking in nature and figuring out my next steps with music. I've had bad habits get in my way, and it's maybe taken me too long to learn that too much overthinking will only leave you bitter with the outcome. It's held me back more than helped. So don't overthink and embrace your imperfections. Love them. That's why I'm releasing this record too many months too late…but I'm happy to say that come this summer, a whole bunch of new songs will be out on the new EP.”
