  • The Kid LAROI Releases New Song “Still Yours” from New Documentary “Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroi”

  • Australian rapper The Kid LAROI premiered his first documentary “Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroi” on Amazon Prime Video.

The film is a documentary written by the singer himself, combining archival footage with animations and, above all, the singer's own testimonies.
The documentary was filmed in 2023, when The Kid Laroi was twenty years old, and talks about his loneliness on stage, disappointments, maturity, and above all, the dream he lives in.
The film was directed by Michael D. Ratner and written by The Kid Laroi himself.
From the film, he released a new song “Still Yours (From The Doc)” on March 1, 2024.
The track was written by Charlton Howard and Omer Fedi. Produced by Omer Fedi and Dopamine.
The Kid LAROI said of the film, “If you're wondering 'why the hell did they make a documentary on Kid Laroi?' We're in the same boat because I have no fkn clue either. But I do know that Michael D. Ratner, Adam Kargenian, OBB Media and everyone else who worked on this did an incredible job and have put their blood, sweat and tears into this thing!”
  • He continued, “The movie follows me leading up to my first arena tour back home in Australia and the making of the new album. It also covers a bit of personal stuff I've gone through these last crazy ass 4-5 years. This isn't a documentary that's necessarily focused on the whole come up story, but more on how I've navigated (or tried my best to at least) the last 4ish years. The goal of this for me is to hopefully inspire and let you know that you're not alone in whatever you may be going through. also to show you I still have a long way to go and a lot of room to grow.”
