Racyne Parker Releases New Song “Willow Tree”
Denver-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Racyne Parker released a new song “Willow Tree” on January 18, 2024.
The song tells the story of two childhood friends growing up together, facing the trials of life, and ultimately finding love that withstands the test of time, much like the movies that have always captured Racyne Parker's heart.
The track is the follow-up to “Make It Out Alive”, which was released last October.
It was written by Racyne Parker and produced by Randall Kent.
Racyne Parker said of the song, “I love love, and wanted to write a song where it all works out despite the usual hiccups. Turns out, even a happy love song turns out a bit melancholic.”- Also she shared on social media, “A song inspired by some others that you might love, like 'Strawberry Wine,' 'Watermelon Moonshine,' 'Check Yes or No,' and 'Mary's Song (Oh My My My),' and every movie with a friends-to-lovers trope like 'Love and Basketball,' 'Just Friends,' or '13 Going on 30' - this is 'Willow Tree'.”
