Bas Drops New Animated Music Video for “Decent” featuring Amaarae
Sudanese-American rapper Bas has dropped a new animated music video for “Decent” co-directed by Danae Gosset and HouHou.
The song is featured on his fourth studio album “We Only Talk About Real Shit When We're Fucked Up”, which was released in December 2023.
The album is his first body of work in five years since the 2018 album “Milky Way”.
He teamed up with Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter Amaarae on the track.
The track was written by Abbas Hamad, Ama Serwah Genfi, Michael Holmes, Oladotun Oyebadejo Jr., Ron Gilmore, and Vincent Fenton. Produced by DZL, FKJ, Kurzweil, and Ron Gilmore.
Director Danae Gosset said of the video in in a press release, “The video illustrates the challenges of balancing a healthy relationship as an artist while actively pursuing passion and success.
