London-based singer-songwriter Beth McCarthy released a new song “IDK How To Talk To Girls” on January 5, 2024.
The song is the first single of 2024, and follows up two singles “She's Pretty” and “What Do You Call It?” in 2022.
The track was written by Beth McCarthy, and Kaity Rae who also produced it.
The accompanying music visualiser was filmed by Chris Harris and creative directied by Bea Bruschi.
Beth McCarthy shared about the song on social media, “My favourite child has finally been born and her first day of life has been better than I could’ve ever imagined. Kaity Rae and I wrote this song in 2021 and while i’ve spent 2 years desperate for the world to have it, I wanted to wait for the right time bc this song was too special to me for it to not have its moment. Well, the moment is here!! and im so grateful for all the love and support you’ve given idkh2t2g so far. I feel v proud.”
