Gabby Barrett Releases New Song “You’re My Texas”
American country music singer-songwriter Gabby Barrett will release her sophomore album “Chapter & Verse” on February 2, 2024.
It is her first body of work in four years since the 2020 debut album “Goldmine”.
From the album, she released the fourth single called “You’re My Texas” on January 5, 2024, following of the released “Glory Days”, “Cowboy Back” and “Growin' Up Raising You”.
This time, she co-wrote the song with American country music singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert and Hillary Lindsey. Also, she co-produced with Ross Copperman.
Gabby Barrett shared about working with Miranda Lambert on social media, “Miranda’s awesome. She’s just super laid back and just so chill and nice to be around and very real of a person, which is really nice to see in the industry, especially as a female being very real and not about the drama and the jealousy and this and that. So, the song is more of a slower song, and it will be about Texas. That’s all I can say.”- The new album comprises a 14-track, featuring a guest appearance from Phil Wickham. Produced by

Gabby Barrett told Entertainment Tonight about the album, “I’m way more intentionally connected to these songs than my first album, I would say. Every song moves me in a certain way, and it’s just me grown up. The past years that I’ve lived, I’ve lived a lot of years in a short amount of time.
