  • The Rolling Stones Drops New Music Video for “Mess It Up” starring Nicholas Hoult

  • British rock band The Rolling Stones has dropped a new music video for “Mess It Up”.


    The video was directed by CALMATIC, starring British actor Nicholas Hoult, who is better known for the 2011 film “X-Men: First Class” and the 2015 film “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
    The song is featured on their latest album “Hackney Diamonds”, which was released back in October.
    It is one of two songs on the album that features the late Charlie Watts on drums.
    The track was written by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. Produced by Andrew Watt.
    The new album is their first body of work in seven years and the first release after the 2021 death of drummer Charlie Watts.
    But Charlie Watts recored two tracks “Mess It Up” and “Live by the Sword” for the album in 2019 before his death.
    The band released the live edition of the album, featuring American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga on December 15, 2023.
    The band embarks on a North American headline tour. The tour kicks off at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX on April 24, 2024.
