Dom Dolla Drops New Music Video for “Saving Up”
Australian DJ Dom Dolla has dropped a new music video for “Saving Up” directed by Shevin Dissanayake.
The video was filmed in Las Vegas.
The song was released back in October, following the collaborative single “Eat Your Man” with Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado.
The track was written by Caitlin Stubbs, Clementine Douglas, Dominic Matheson, and Toby Scott. Produced by Dom Dolla and Toby Scott.
Dom Dolla said of the song, “This song 'Saving Up' has been a wild journey... it’s a record I wasn’t sure would ever see the light of day. It started as a little idea inspired by the disco sets I’d play at house parties with my friends in Melbourne. It eventually began to take shape in a little recording session with friends overlooking Brighton beach in England. And finally ended in Vegas... in the back of a Cadillac filming this little clip. It’s pretty insane to hear thousands of you singing it back to me word for word. I’m pretty excited to play it for all of my mates in my hometown tonight… lyrically, it’s a record about saving time for the ones you love.
