  • Crazy Lixx Announces New Album ”Two Shots At Glory”, Covers KISS' Unreleased Song “Sword And Stone”

  • Swedish rock band Crazy Lixx, consisting of Danny Rexon (vocals/guitar), Joél Cirera (drums), Jens Anderson (bass), Chrisse Olsson (guitar) and Jens Lundgren (guitar), has announced that their new compilation album ”Two Shots At Glory” will be released on February 16, 2024.

The album comprises 12 tracks, each accompanied by UST videos that draw inspiration from a wide range of films, from blockbuster hits of the 90s to lesser-known 80s B-movies.
From the album, the band released a cover of American rock band KISS' unreleased song “Sword And Stone” on December 11, 2023.
The original version of the song was written by Paul Stanley and Bruce Kulick as a demo for KISS' 1987 fourteenth studio album “Crazy Nights”. But KISS didn't release the song.
The cover version was produced by Danny Rexon. The accompanying music video uses footage from the 1981 film “Excalibur”.
  • The band frontman Danny Rexon said of the video, “Excalibur from 1981 is one of my all time favorite movies. Sure, the acting and dialogue can be a bit over the top dramatic at times and the attempt at any sort of historical accuracy is absolute zero, but I love it nevertheless and I actually miss these kind of theatrical fantasy movies nowadays. They just don't seem to make them anymore. Anyway, here are some of my favorite scenes from the movie accompanied by our cover of the unreleased KISS demo of 'Sword And Stone'. Enjoy!”
