Trey Lewis Releases New Song “Mine Never Could”
Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter Trey Lewis released a new song “Mine Never Could”.
The song is the follow-up to “Up Yours” and “Always You,” the latter of which is currently in the top 50 on the MusicRow Country Breakout chart.
The track was written by Deric Ruttan, Matt Jenkins, and Zachary Kale. Produced by Jacob Rice.
Trey Lewis said of the song, “I went through a breakup a few months ago and it really messed me up. I'm over it now. Might not seem like it from this song, but this song comes out, it's called 'Mine Never Could'.”
He continued, “I think we've all been in this situation. Watching the person you love move on so easily, while you're still haunted by what was. It's a crazy feeling, but makes a damn good song.”
He added, “If you feel like they are getting over you quicker than you are moving on... Then this song is for you. This one is for everyone who is struggling to get over someone.”- source : Apple Music
