Zara Larsson Releases Two New Songs “Memory Lane” & “Winter Song”
Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson has announced that her new holiday EP “Honor The Light” will be released on December 1, 2023 via Sommer House/Epic Records.
The EP is her first Christmas record and comprises 6-track. Produced by ACT SOCIAL and ELVIRA.
From the EP, she released two new songs “Memory Lane” and “Winter Song” on November 24, 2023.
“Memory Lane” was written by ELVIRA, Klara Söderberg and Zara Larsson. Produced by ACT SOCIAL and ELVIRA.
“Winter Song” was written by Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles.
After the release of the EP, she will release her fourth studio album “Venus” on February 9, 2024.
It is her first body of work in three years since the 2021 album “Poster Girl”.- She told Billboard about the album, “This is a very solid body of work that I'm very proud of. I find it really hard to stay sonically in one kind of genre. Even though the album is still pop, it sounds a bit more R&B-leaning and also has more just classic pop jams. There are drum patterns and drum beats on some songs and there are also some beautiful strings on most of the songs. So, while there are definitely elements which tie it together, overall, I would just say the real thread throughout the album is just my voice and me telling a story depending on what I'm feeling right now.”
