Paramore Shares New Remix “Liar (Re: Romy)” featuring Romy
American rock band Paramore, consisting of Hayley Williams (vocals), Taylor York (guitar) and Zac Farro (drums), has shared a new remix “Liar (Re: Romy)”
The band teamed up with British indie rock band The xx's member and singer-songwriter Romy on the track.
The song is featured on their first remix album “Re: This Is Why”, which was released on October 6, 2023.
The original version of the song, “Liar” is included on their sixth studio album “This Is Why”, which was released back in February.
“Re: This Is Why” comprises 12-track, featuring reworked, remixed, and rewritten versions of songs from “This Is Why”, as well as an unreleased B-side demo.
The track was written by Hayley Williams, Taylor York, Zac Farro, and Romy Madley Croft. Produced by Romy and Francine Perry.- Ss-glc8srDg

Romy shared on social media, “Thank you so much Paramore and Hayley Williams for including me in this project. I'm a huge fan and have been for a long time! Liar is a song I played on repeat when this album came out so getting sent the stems to work on was so exciting! Hayley's voice is unreal!!! I was so inspired to strip the instrumentation back and let her voice be the main focus. I was encouraged to sing and write my own lyrics as well which was of course a dream (after many years singing along to Paramore songs in my life haha!!). I loved discovering the synth parts that were layered into the original song and bringing them to the foreground.”
Romy added, “Thank you to Francine Perry for co producing this track with me, you are a dream to work with always! Paramore are a band that continue to musically evolve and it's inspiring to hear and see their fans come with them on these new adventures, when I say fans I am definitely one of them!”-
