Terra Lightfoot Releases New Song “Kept You In My Pocket”
Canadian singer-songwriter Terra Lightfoot released a new song “Kept You In My Pocket” on September 22, 2023.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming fifth studio album “Healing Power”, which is set to be released on October 13, 2023 via Sonic Unyon Records.
It was written by Terra Lightfoot and produced by Gus van Go.
Terra Lightfoot said of the song, “A dream in a dark dance club. It's knowing that you have fond memories of someone, enough to carry you through a time where you can't be with them, and choosing to remain in that half-reality/daydream state when you can't be together.”
The new album comprises 12-track, produced by Gus van Go. It is her third outing with producer Gus van Go.
Terra Lightfoot said of the album, “The story is that everything comes back around. It was my idea to call the record Healing Power, and I thought of the most healing place that I knew in the world. That tree taught me about perseverance. It was the only tree living at that altitude. It just kept growing.
