DYLAN Releases New Song “Rebel Child”
London-based singer-songwriter Natasha Woods, aka DYLAN released a new song “Rebel Child” on September 22, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Liar Liar” with British pop rock band Bastille, which was released last month.
The track was written by Steve Mac and Natasha Woods. Produce by Steve Mac.
“First off, I LOVE this song”, DYLAN said of the song. “I basically wanted my own theme tune - my main character moment. It’s purposefully at the tempo of a good, strong, strut. It’s the first song I have released that is not about anything other than myself, not about heartbreak or loss, love or friendship; it is about me, myself and I. The lyric is about doing life my way and refusing to listen to anyone that tells me how to do it otherwise. The ‘you’ in the song represents the people that do not like me, it’s always seemed to add fuel to the fire, not get me down. This is my own anthem to getting to where I want to be.”
- DYLAN shared on social media, “I wrote it with the incredible Steve Mac which is as exciting as the song coming out as he is someone I have wanted to work with forever. This is the first thing we wrote together and I was so nervous I walked in and just sang the ‘wahoo wahoo’ bit in his face for about 25 minutes.”
DYLAN embarks on her Rebel Child Tour in the UK and EU. The tour kicks off at Storm in Munich on Hanuary 31, 2023.
