Kiimi Releases New Song “Serotonin”
London-based producer Kiimi released a new song “Serotonin” on September 13, 2023 via Three Six Zero Recordings.
The song is the follow-up to “Know Someone”, which was released back in July.
The track was written by Kimberley Emma Reader and produced by Jasper Tygner.
Kiimi said of the song, “Making 'Serotonin' was cathartic for me while I was processing a pretty hefty breakup. It felt like I'd been on high alert for a year because I was so anxious all the time with this person. Then when it ended, there was this big emotional comedown. Everyone experiences heartbreak, right, and it hurts like hell, but you just kind of have to ride it out. I'm also singing on the track and the vocals don't have a lot of processing on them, so it feels pretty vulnerable and raw, but that's exactly the point.”
Ahead of the release the song, Kiimi announced their debut live show would take place at iconic London venue The Social on November 1, 2023.
